The only props that were needed when filming our trailer were fake guns. We applied Barthes theory of having thing relating to genres, with ours being the guns in action films. The guns were used to create a sence of realism in our trailer to make the overall performance of the trailer more beleiveable. We decieded that it would have been eaisier to keep the number of props to a minimum.
The camera that we used was a Fujifilm finepix S2500 HD digital camera. We decided to use our own camera instead of the school as we wanted a better quality video, and allow our audience to watch it in HD, bringing a more proffessional feel to our picture.
